Application & Process
The Prism comminuting mill is used for the downsizing, milling, pulverization, and dispersion of both wet and dry products in the pharmaceutical, chemical, food, cosmetics, and fertilizer industries.
The product is poured from the top through the in-feed hopper, and it falls onto the rotor blade/beater assembly for milling or pulverization. Due to the knife edges mounted on the rotor, particle downsizing takes place, and the material is pushed outward through the bottom opening via a sieve. The knife edges can be easily removed for cleaning.
